The Brief:
To celebrate the history and prestige of the Christchurch Town Hall, and style the space to provide furnishings, festivities and a photo wall for the Black-tie event.
The Solution:
We thought hard about this one.. how to complement the architecture and history of the space while reflecting the contemporary hosting and talent on show. The light fittings of the Town Hall are such a distinctive part of the space - yet are hard to capture in a photograph in the same frame as guests.
We designed and created pendant lamps reminiscent of the existing Town Hall features, and combined these with plush draping and a custom signage and oversize red ribbon for the occasion.
Classic red rose floral combined with touches of gold and fluted vessels to make each feature bar area feel special. Guest comfort was ensured by seeking out just the right furniture and linens to suit.
